Arts@Brown Inaugural Newsletter
The Creative Arts Council is a collaboration of Brown’s art departments and programs in an effort to advance the position of the arts on campus.
The CAC develops support for individual arts disciplines and creates an atmosphere in which
interdisciplinary arts initiatives could develop and flourish. An establishment of an Artist-in-Residence Endowment, as well as several funds for
competitive grants for lectures, symposia, performance, and exhibitions provide new opportunities for interdepartmental sponsorship and new, multidisciplinary initiatives.
